Chicken and Green Peppers

Stir fry dish

Ingredients

2 pieces skinless chicken breast (500g)
2 osaji cooking sake
1 osaji katakuriko
a little salt and pepper
4 green peppers (120g)
100g peanuts
1 large green onion (80g)
1 piece of ginger, finely chopped
Oil
Combined Seasonings:
6 osaji water
3 osaji soy sauce
1 osaji cooking sake
1 osaji vinegar
1 osaji sugar
1 kosaji katakuriko

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces. Rub with cooking sake, katakuriko, salt and pepper. Cut the peppers into half lengthwise and remove the stems and seeds. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Chop the green onion roughly. Mix the combined seasoning ingredients.
  2. Heat 1 osaji oil in a fry pan and fry the chicken for 2 minutes. Add the ginger, green pepper and peanuts and stir fry briefly.
  3. Add the combined seasonings, turn the heat to high, and stir fry until thickened. Add the chopped green onions and mix in. Serve.
