Ingredients
4 spring potatoes
400g spanish mackerel (サワラ)
1/3 kosaji salt
2 osaji cooking sake
2 osaji olive oil

1 kosaji grated garlic
2 osaji soy sauce
1 osaji sugar
Steps
- Wash potatoes carefully without peeling them.
- Cut potatoes into 5mm rounds.
- Put potatoes in a bowl of water. Keep in water foor 5 seconds. Use strainer.
- Prepare small pieces of fish.
- Put fish in square glass bowl without overlapping. Sprinkle with salt on all sides. Spread out salt evenly. Wait 10 minutes. Wipe fish with paper towels.
- Put potatoes in flat round glass casserole without overlapping.
- Put fish on top of potatoes. Add sake and olive oil.
- Cover loosely “funwari” style with saran wrap.
- Cook in microwave on 600W foor 10 minutes.
- Check potatoes and fish to be sure that they have cooked enough. Cook some more if needed.
- Serve on 4 plates.
- Add A evenly over the dishes.
