Ingredients
300g ground beef or pork
1 small onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped finely
2 kosaji chili powder
2 osaji cooking sake
1/2 kosaji sugar
1 osaji soy sauce
3 osaji usta sauce
2 osaji tomato ketchup
salt and pepper
2 tomatoes, chopped
5 lettuce leaves, torn into small pieces
1 ripe avocado, cut into pieces
grated parmesan cheese
tortilla chips
olive oil
rice
Steps
- Pour some olive oil into a large frying pan. Saute the garlic and onion together on a gentle heat until the onion is translucent.
- Add ground meat to the pan, and stir well into the garlic and onion mixture. Continue to cook uncovered until the meat is roughly 50% cooked through.
- Add to the pan the chili powder, sake, sugar, soy sauce, usta sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper. Continue to simmer until the meat is fully cooked and the ingredients are well blended together.
- Prepare large bowls to serve. Pre-heat the bowls if possible. Assemble the ingredients in the following order:
- Rice
- Meat mixture
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Avocado
- Parmesan cheese
- Tortilla chips
