Broccoli & Chicken Toromi

Ingredients

1 bunch broccoli
400g (2 pieces) boneless chicken thigh
1 osaji soy sauce
2 kosaji katakuriko potato starch
100g (1 pack) shimeji mushrooms
2 osaji cooking sake
1 thumb-sized piece ginger, cut into thin strips
1 osaji dried chicken soup stock
sesame seed oil

Steps

  1. Cut broccoli into florets
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Put chicken in large bowl. Mix in soy sauce and potato starch.
  3. Prepare strips of ginger.
  4. Stir fry chicken in sesame seed oil until mostly cooked.
  5. Add broccoli, cooking sake, soup stock powder, and 4 osaji water. Steam with lid on for a few minutes.
  6. Add mushrooms and ginger. Cook a little longer.
  7. Serve.
