Ozoni

Ingredients

1/8 daikon radish
1/2 carrot
150g chicken thigh
800cc dashi soup stock
1 osaji cooking sake
2 osaji soy sauce
3-4 mochi pieces
1/2 pack mitsuba
1/2 stick naruto maki
yuzu peel

Steps

  1. Cut carrot and daikon into thin, 1/4 pieces. Cut naruto, mitsuba, and yuzu,
  2. Make dashi soup stock. Add sake and soy sauce.
  3. Add vegetables. Wait until the soup boils.
  4. Add chicken. Cook until done. Meanwhile, remove scum.
  5. Add naruto. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
  6. Grill mochi on top rack using the 上 面 function for 4-6 minutes.
  7. Reheat soup. Add mochi, then mitsuba and yuzu.
  8. Serve in a balanced way.
