Ingredients
2 servings soba noodles
1 piece abura age fried tofu
(A) 80cc water
(A) 1 osaji soy sauce
(A) 2 osaji mirin
small green onions
kamaboko
(B) 400cc water
(B) 2 osaji 2X concentrated mentsuyu
(B) 1 kosaji hondashi
(B) 1 kosaji mirin
(B) 1/2 kosaji soy sauce
Steps
- Chop the green onions.
- Slice the kamaboko
- Cut the fried tofu in half and cut it diagonally.
- Add (A) to a pot and bring to a boil, then simmer the fried tofu for 2 minutes on each side. Turn off the heat and leave to soak up all the juices.
- Boil the soba noodles according to the directions, drain the water, and put in serving bowls.
- Add (B) both to a pot and bring to a boil.
- Pour (B) into the serving bowls with the soba noodles. Garnish with the green onions kamaboko, and prepared fried tofu.
- Serve.
