Ingredients

2 packs frozen udon noodles
(A) 4 osaji salad oil
(A) 3 osaji Worcestershire sauce
(A) 1 kosaji soy sauce
(A) 4-6cm tubed garlic
(A) black pepper – a generous amount
(A) 6 tablespoons chopped green onions
(A) 4 kosaji dried bonito powder
6 osaji tengasu fried tempura flakes
2 egg yolks (or soft boiled eggs)

Steps

  1. Mix together (A) in a bowl. Leave some of the green onions aside to use as a garnish.
  2. Cook the udon noodles according to the directions.
  3. Serve the noodles in two bowls. Add half of (A) to each and mix in.
  4. Top both services with the tengasu fried tempura flakes, the green onions, and egg yolks.
  5. Serve with fruit and a meat based side dish.
