Ingredients
8 cherry tomatoes
1/4 onion
300cc dashi soup stock
1 tablespoon miso paste
3 shiso leaves
Steps
- Put tomatoes in a medium sized ziplock bag and put in the freezer until they are frozen.
- Slice the onion thinly.
- Prepare the dashi soup stock.
- Add the sliced onion to the soup stock and cook gently for awhile.
- Add the frozen cherry tomatoes and cook long enough for then to thaw out, but without overcooking.
- Dissolve the miso in the soup.
- Serve. Top with the shiso leaves. Makes 2 servings.
